Do you feel the cold?

Could always go for a swim Stan :p

You do work on off shore oil rigs dont you? Not ones that are on land?

LOL.

I've looked longingly at the sea many times but there are barracuda and other things with sharp pointy teeth swimming about down there and I'd kinda prefer to keep all my bits :p

Stan :)

You need to invest in a bunji cord.

Jump from the edge have a very quick dip then get pulled up as quick as you went in :p

Thats probably because the minimum workplace temp is 16 degs, anything lower than that and Health and Safety Exec can get involved.

That was pretty much my line of thinking.

I therefore call shenanigans on gambitt's claim of aircon set to 8 degrees and require proof :p

Stan :)

That's what the little digital thing says. Although it beeps all the time and you can't adjust the temperature anymore so could be broken. It's definitely not 16 degrees though. It's like being outside.

Put it this way, when I walk to work in this weather (20 minutes at least), I don't feel cold. I get in the office, take off my jacket, sit down and it's bloody freezing. I have to warm up my 'mouse' hand all the time.Me and 5 other guys already wear T shirts under our shirts.

I have to meet clients at work so wearing a T shirt, shirt, tie, wooley jumper and jacket to a meeting isn't going to look very professional

And I know it's not just me because the other guys complain when he's out of the room, but none of them want to have conflict in the office (these are mostly guys who have been in the company for 4 years and have never asked for a raise). Also, isn't aircon bad for the environment?

I know Gilly will argue this to the death (right Gilly? ;)). Go ahead King of the Keyboard, take it away :D

I'm the same. I walk around in my t-shirt half the time and just don't feel the cold like most do. My ears do get a bit chilly though and I feel it there :o

Mind you, the lab I work in hits some horribly low temps during winter and believe me, working at 13c isn't fun and I do feel it then.

Kainz, thanks for reminding me. We have aircon in the server room and that is comparable to our office :). So anyone who's ever been in a server room will probably know what I'm talking about.

I'm still wearing shorts and a tshirt outside...
:)
I don't really feel the cold that much for some reason :p

I even have one of those stupid hats with the furry flaps :D

I bet you look sooo cute! :D

The weather's not been cold enough for me to put the heating on much.
Not a fan of the heat, and I'm a girl :p

i never used to feel the cold, used to go through the whole winter wearing just a t-shirt. in the last few months ive lost a lot of body fat so now i get cold being in doors let alone out side.

I do feel the cold, but going in to university requires me to walk about a mile up hill, so by the time I get there, I'm pretty warm, and everyone else is complaining it's too cold in the mornings :p . I've thought the recent cold spell has been about the right temperature for the walks in the mornings so I've enjoyed the walk a bit more, and I'm hoping it will go colder again soon :)

Alos when girls are cold and you offer them your jacket they always decline

Weird creatures

Rubbish! I mugged K for his jacket at the beach earlier in the year, I had two on and he had just a tshirt. He was definitely blue around the edges but refused to admit he was cold!

I feel the cold really badly. I have a 15 tog duvet on my bed at the moment with an open sleeping bag over the top. Saying that I do get hot pretty easily too, if its warm. I think my internal thermostat is the upgraded turbo version.

I'm the same. I get cold really easily but I can't take any form of heat either :(.
