Poll: Do you fill in the reason for editing your online posts?

OcUK doesn't give you an option to fill in a reason for editing posts so this poll is irrelevant

I edit my posts a bit. Normally because I mess up grammar/spelling ( or some times autocorrect messes up ) If I was to put a note on every time I did an adjustment, every post I put on here would consist of me writing some text and then immediately after it there will be a big chunky note saying ‘ post edited because ma bad spelling’

Nah too much effort for that especially if you are posting this on a mobile phone with rubbish keyboard settings

Didn't even know it was an option. I guess I just glaze over that when making an edit.

Edit: can't see the option, is this a non-mobile option.

^^ I can't see it either, I think OP just means adding some text to your post like e:spelling etc, rather than it being an option/bit to fill in

although pretty sure you get that option on other forums

Never unless theres a particular reason to I don't see the point its mostly because of bad grammar or I've missed out a word that sort of thing I tend to type down my thoughts rapidly then read through afterwards to make sure they aren't complete gibberish, sometimes I miss something or other

I hardly ever write well the first time, many posts get edited to make them less prone to misunderstanding.

If the edit is significant, or if it was already quoted, then I'll write an edit note in the post.

Likewise if I make a substantial change/addition I usually add an EDIT note in the post though I'm not entirely sure why.

There might be better forum examples for those that don't know what i'm talking about but this is all i could find for a quick search of imgur.

If I’m changing or adding to the meat of a post, then yes, particularly if it’s a quick fire ‘debate’ - otherwise it’s like you’re rewinding the conversation for another go.

Most of my edits are for grammar and correcting nonsense. Like this edit :D
