Do you have a bank account?

1 current account with RBS
1 internet saver with RBS
1 internet saver with Scottish Widows
1 internet saver with Ulster bank
1 ISA with Santander

Need to close the Scottish Widows account and move the money somewhere else as it has dropped from 3% to 2% interest :(.

I'm now a 'Student Saver', and have just recieved my first debit card, for draining the cash from the normal account, before transfering more (if there is any) from my savings one :p

I have 5:

Nationwide - my current/savings account iv had since I was a kid
RBS - was going to be my student account till I came to NI
Ulsterbank - my NI student account, one of the worst banks iv ever encountered
Abbey - needed it for some inheritance distribution
Barclays - got a debit card at 17 which was cool, but the most terrible bank in existence

For 5UB id just stick with nationwide, it is a building society instead of a real bank but it does everything banks do and are generally a lot nicer about it all :)

I have a mortgage account and (atm) 2 current accounts but am in the process of closing one of them.

Current accounts are with Smile and Natwest - ditching Natwest as I prefer the ethics of Smile and I never keep a lot in my current account as I get paid into my mortgage account (Barclays - forced by terms of my mortgage) and 'pay myself' every month into a current account. My bills all come out of the mortgage acct.

5

1 NatWest
1 Norwegian
2 € current accounts
1 € savings.

Don't really need the second Euro current account, I opened it when I was working freelance, but now that I'm on contract I don't need a seperate business/personal one.

Nationwide savings account and a Nationwide current account. I keep most of my money in the savings and transfer it (instantaneous online) to the current when i want to use it.

One current and one savings account with HSBC along with a savings account with my local building society. I used to have a nationwide savings account but that has been closed.

Got 5,

Natwest account (for regular payments, such as mobile phone, accommodation etc)
co-op account (for day to day spending)
Citibank £, $ and € accounts, the card can be linked to any of them. I pay money into the £ account, can then distribute it into the $ and € accounts as necessary, useful for when going abroad, but don't want to carry large amount of cash or be shafted with ATM fees, they also provide prepaid envelopes for cheque deposits, whereas the other banks require me to pay for postage, so it saves me from dealing with people! Their customer service is also fantastic, so once I leave uni, I think I'm going to keep them as my only bank.

1 lloyds TSB - mine
1 lloyds TSB - shared
1 lloyds TSB ISA - currently at £0
1 lloyds TSB CC - currently at £0
1 halifax CC - currently at £0

Credit cards are there purely for emergencies, and the ISA was only ever setup for me to stick money every month when i was paying something off on a buy now pay in 12 months jobby. Though once I've sorted a bit of debt i'll no doubt start packing some £££ in to the ISA :p

2 credit cards
1 student current account
2 current accounts with the same bank, 2 different branches
2 savings accounts
2 ISAs
Premium bonds.

£0 net debt.

I quite enjoy juggling my funds about online tbh :p

its always good to have more than one IMO

for example ive had cards cancelled because of 'suspicious spending' and its good to have the other one
