Do you have a hobby?

Just curious to see what you lot like to get up to when you're not posting here.


I'm also looking for a bit of inspiration. I recently gave up my hobbies (watching television/dvds, playing video games and drinking) so I've not got a lot going on outside of work.

I play the guitar, but exercise is by far away the best hobby someone can have in my book. Great fun, good for you and it makes you more attractive. How can you lose!?

Regular hobbies are reading, cinema, football, running, xbox, drinking and in hibernation for winter is golf.

For a cheap relaxing hobby get a library card, get some books and stick on some music.

Snowboarding, wakeboarding, radio control helis and planes, watchmaking, running, pcs and tech tinkering among others!

Cycling - both leisure and racing.

Motorcycling - although mostly touring these days - tend to get over to europe with mates for at least a week or so each year

Movies, although I'd class that as more of a pass time than a hobby.

I like to look at my DSLR and pretend I'm a keen amateur photographer, when in fact I haven't the foggiest about photography.
Every now and then I'll take some photos but they barely make it onto the computer as I also don't have the foggiest about how to edit them.


I also like to pretend I have friends and a purpose in life.

Edit: I used to enjoy playing computer games but I've got to the point where all I can see is how much they don't work properly.

I'm very active during the summer - I regularly play tennis, golf, five-a-side, go to the driving range, play some pool. However when winter comes it all stops, even pool, which I can play at home Winter = lazy time.

I've got into gaming again after a while so bought a PS3 and will probably be getting into that (geeky, I know, but it's cold ) Also interested in learning a martial art, however really don't have time.

I like to build speakers and amplifiers and audio effects, general electronicy things though mostly audio related. Also making music, though both of these hobbies have been lax since starting uni
