Do You Have a Passion?

I used to but then life, society, banks, my brain, my peers and pretty much everything in the world beat it out of me. Its still there but its numbed into normality and passion doest live in normality.

After the past 5 weeks of my life where I've done none stop studying to fuel my passion for becoming a damn good engineer, and then to go and do badly on every exam for almost no observable reason at all, kind of makes you take that passion one once had and **** it.


Oh sorry I see what's going on here.
I have a passion for good threads.

Yup. Travel and Tattoos. Much to the detriment of my savings account. The interest in travel has led to a bunch of interests that revolve around it (Writing, Photography, Hiking and recently Cycling).

I enjoy my work (Software Dev. with a lot of Database stuff) but I wouldn't say it's a passion.
 
In seriouaness, I have a passion for music and I think I'd almost class my interest in computers & technology as a passion.

But I havent lived long enough or experienced enough to have discovered various unknown passions I may develop though. :)
 
Yes.

EDIT: The way I think of this (or my subjective definition [of passion {or the implications it holds (for me)}]), is that it's something that (if removed [from your life {or your abilities (touch wood)}]) you would consider dying for or that your life (as you knew it [then]) would no longer contain any meaning without it.

I think (you'll find [on examination {of greater details (and OCUK [history])}]) that the bracketing system (as it's called) was invented by (or attributed to [none other than]) Angus Higgins. I find that the bracketing system (as it's called [and attributed to {none other than (Angus Higgins)}]) helps to explain some posts in more depth (where necessary) and adds greater latitude for (optional [but not incidental {and already existent}]) further detail.

Thinking about this a few days ago and couldn't remember his name. Where has Angus disappeared to?
