Do you have to have 2 cpus on a dual cpu motherboard?

Hi would i need 2 xeon chips on this motherboard ASUS NCLV-D2 or can i only use 1?

i think its fine 2 run one chip ona dual board, have seen some athlon xp-ms running in 1 on dual boards

Yeah, you can just have one processor installed and the system will run still.

. Yep, should be fine, although in some cases you may need to reinstall the os if you add a second processor.
