Do you have your own towel?

People share towels?

People freak out about sharing a towel? Admittedly it's just my partner and I in the house and sharing a towel doesn't seem to be a big deal. But growing up it was always sharing towels.

I can't believe how many dirty buggers on here share a hand towel
You've just done a big number two, washed your hands, dried and then let somebody else use the hand towel.

Surely if you've washed your hands, this shouldn't be a problem?

Or do you scrape at your nuggets bare-fisted? :p

If you find this disgusting, I think you might need to work on your hand washing technique!

Did you share toothbrushes too?

You do know it's not normal to try and dry the inside of your mouth after a shower... Right?

This is something my extended family find odd that in my house a towel is used once only then washed it's how it was as a child for me.
Hand towel changed daily mostly as one of the kids will end up wiping toothpaste of there face on to it.
I would not want someone to drying there face on something i just dried my bits n bobs on a few hours earlier .

We each have our own towel for use after bath / shower and 1 small towel for drying hands after using sink.

Some responses in this thread are crazy. The worst thing you're likely to get from a public bathroom door handle is a cold... No wonder we over use antibiotics when people live in a sterilised world.

I agree, this is the reason I think I am rarely ever ill and people seem to be falling down around me like flies. I do not give a **** about dirt. I will use any towel as long as it's dry and doesn't have any worrying colour stains on it.
I mean seriously the previous person has been washing and rinsing under water for 20mins. It's only going to have a bit of skin on it (which I can't see) and frankly your walking around inhaling that all the time and don't die :D

In theory it's ridiculous to be so hygenic anyway since, you probably then go out and touch a public door, who's previously been touched by a guy playing with his wang etc etc.

Embrace the germs. :)

After I've showered, my bits and bobs are WAY cleaner than the average person's hands at midday, or the handrail on an escalator, or a pole on the tube.

Back when i lived at home with the 'rents it would be everyone has 2 towels, One for body and one for hair/face. these were specific to you and then replaced after a week.

My keyboard at work is probably waaaaay dirtier and hazardous to my health than any toilet door handle or tap or soap dispenser or towel... so I've got no major worries about any of those :p
