Do you have your own towel?

You might wash your towels twice a day?

That seems crazy to me :)

I might wash 2 towels in one wash load. I might do 2 washing loads in one day if I haven't done any washing for a couple of days. I have a dozen towels, so I never need to wash and dry the same one twice in one day.

I take 2 showers a day and wash the towels once or twice a day. I might use the same towel twice between washes, but usually not. I'm clean when I come out of the shower, but I'm not sterile. So when I dry myself the towel will have water, skin cells, hairs, oil and bacteria on it. I'd rather use a washed towel than one that's been hanging on the door for 12 hours after that. I'm a bit fussy.

I live on my own, so they're all my towels.

Out of curiosity do you have a job (other than ocd towel cleaning? :p)

I haven't got a bath, I had it ripped out in 2008 and replaced with a shower.
My daughters weren't happy at the time but soon got used to it.

I don't have a bath either...

It's a PITA...

I have speakers in my shower ceiling and it's far better singing to some tunes in the muff dancing.

I live alone and when the gf stays over I put out a fresh clean towel in the bathroom, one of my newer ones that hasn't faded too much.

I'll still use it too though!

When I stay over at hers I use whatever towel is on the rail, it really doesn't bother me.

Theoretically we all have our own, but I tend to use whatever is closest of driest. My wife hates me for it.

When we were kids, everyone just used whichever one.

I have a washing machine. I hear it's quite common nowadays. So I spend very little time washing clothing, etc, because the machine does nearly all of the work. That means that washing doesn't take up so much time that I don't have time to do a job. Much as I'd like to be independently wealthy and not have to work, I'm not and I do.

I live alone so it's not an issue but when I lived at my mums we had a communal collection of laundered towels we could take a clean towel from when needed but once you'd used it, you hung it up and exclusively used that towel until it was washed again, whereupon it was returned to the communal stock.

I wouldn't use someone else's used towel but see no issue with using a laundered towel that wasn't exclusively mine.

Sounds about right!

Washing a towel after one use is absurd. A bath/shower towel will last me a couple of weeks. Always hang it up on rail to dry.

Throly head revival.

I just throw mine in the washing basket and it gets washed by either of us when the basket is full.
