Do you just unplug your USB devices?

Just yanked them out , the other day a "software developer" who acts like management at work yelled at me for yanking out a usb optical writer from a pc that was locked - I just shrugged , and now have great glee in pulling anything out whenever he walks in the room

the whole of IT support treat this guy as a joke anyway - so why should I be any different hahaha

of course he acts like management, hes a software coder, all the ones i have met have a tendency to think they are god.

If they didnt exist your hardware wouldnt function ;)
 
Pull it out without a second thought. In fact, I would get rid of that bloody icon permanently if I knew how. :mad:

My 512 stick and SD/MMC Cards in the reader I just pull!... but my OneTouch USB I always Stop before removing...

I would agree in general - especially with normal hdd tech, but with usb sticks I have never had any problem on XP , even the early generations
