do you keep your boxes?

I do just for warrenty purpouse. I can send the items back for RMA when I need to without having to seek packaging and also if I upgrade and sell the items.

As stated by others it's good for resale and RMA purposes also just good practice aswell, if you do upgrade and dont sell on its allways nice to have your parts in box's that look nice and tidy and that are pretty self explanitory of whats inside.

i keep my case box and monitor box for the big day i move out of the flat with my missus and into somewhere bigger, its good for transport as well as selling :)

I always keep the actual hardware boxes for when I sell them.

And as for the brown boxes that your order comes in, just fold them up and stick them in garage, they always come in useful when you need to post stuff :)

always

even found boxes or stuff I had either thrown away or sold and the person picked up the parts themselves.

my girlee has a fit sometimes about all the boxes I have

muhahah :D

To be fair, I even still have my 37" Samsung R88 box under my bed!!!! and that thing is hugeeeeee.

My attick is absolutely full of boxes of components I've bought over the years. Just never got around to selling my stuff. Like others have said, you've got to keep the box's incase you have to send them back.

yes for reasons already stated.

Since the turnover of computer components if relatively fast, there is a greater need than say a TV when it comes to resale.

I've kept the bigger boxes (monitor, case) but the smaller ones have gone. After reading this I probably should have kept them, but oh well.

PK!
