Do you know anyone who doesn't like eating?

I’m always suspicious of the types who aren’t bothered by food. Also feel sad for them.

I love eating but have some strange eating habits.
In 63 years I have never put a fork in my left hand, I can't physically cut my food with my right even though if I'm DIY'ing knives, saws etc are used in the right hand.
I don't follow 'rules' which was highlighted in 1978 when me and my Dad decided to busk around Mid France.
A couple took us in with the bloke getting us paid gigs but when I sat down to eat with them they were shocked that I wouldn't drink wine with my food.
I just asked for Coca Cola which they thought was weird but after a week a bottle of coke would just appear without any debate.
I eat my food in order so for example my Sunday dinner yesterday would be all the carrots, all the sprouts, all the brocolli, all the cauliflower, all the meat and then I'm left with a decision of mash or roast potatoes first - this could change week to week.
After my potatoes I'll sit down in a comfier chair and eat my Yorkshire puddings like crisps.
I also often argue with the wife that putting meat on my dinner is a waste of time because I'd rather it be on a separate plate that I can eat at will a bit later.

My youngest daughter (32) is worse than me, she won't have different foodstuffs touching each other.

Sometimes it can be a genetic thing by which they don't get much sensation from eating nice foods. Similar to how some people can sit and eat a phal or vindaloo without breaking a sweat and others need a pint of milk after each mouthful.

I've only met one person like this though and they said it was down to a certain gene they have. My first thought was well that must suck but then I guess because they've always been that way, they'll never know what they are missing.

My sister could take part in a chili eating contest and I have seen her eat a Caroline Reaper, me on the other hand will only go to a Chicken Tikka Masala so we definitely don't share the same gene. my Mum & Dad didn't have it either.

I once worked with someone who only ate jam sandwiches. I was trying to make conversation with him one day and asked him what kind of music he was into, he told me he didn't like music...

Really threw me off. I though everyone liked some kind of music?

Ha thats me im wfh i dont have the radio on and its the same when im driving i could be in the car for a 3 hour drive and not have the radio on. I made a a thread on here years ago to recommend me some music to listen to as im not into it and i tried some and got bored of it. This is someoen who went to a Download festival (rage against the machine 2010?) and i was bored.

When my Father in Law died not one person could name a song/tune he liked.
A bloke I worked with at Creda had never owned a record and put talking stations on the Radio, even when over 1000 people on the assembly lines singing out loud to the radio there wouldn't be a flicker from him.

I'm exactly the same. Right handed but eat left. Cannot use a fork in my left hand or knife in right. Mother is left handed tho, so maybe a trait from her just like the diabetes I inherited from my father!

Wife's friend lives on a half a packet of hobnobs a day, won't eat anything else, childhood friend used to be incredibly fussy would only eat dried rolls and apples, he grew out of that mainly when he became a student.
