Hey folks!

So do you like having an empty house;

Girlfriend might be away (if you live together)
Family might be away etc etc


Do you like it? Or loathe it?

I personally get lonely in the night! Sad as it sounds but there you go!

In the day it's cool though!

How about you all?


(PS I don't envy those folk who live miles out in the middle of nowhere in a house who have to stay home alone!)


I know, I've seen tooooo many horror films and took toooo much notice of them! :D
 
Yeah i hate it, when my wife and i split for a bit last year i couldnt stand to be in the house on my own - so i went the pub every night :p
 
I love it.

I've got so much stuff to do which I don't get time to do normally, being alone in the house is great - I've got numerous PC games which I haven't finished yet, loads of books which I really should read and a shed load of stuff on Sky+ which I haven't watched.

Plus there's all the pr0n on the interweb which I haven't seen yet ;)
 
I love it, get to do whatever i want when i want (i live with parents by the way)

Only thing i don't like is the possibility that i might break something :S

I used to absolutely adore time on my own, i would spend hours/days locked away reading, playing games, watching films and being on my own. Then i started socialising and found my life.. i find it much more difficult being on my own at home nowadays, i get bored very easily, i don't really enjoy playing games anymore (i leave that to a little bit of console gaming now) and i don't have the urge to watch films like i used to, i'm far more social now which is the main thing (i don't neccesarily mean i want to go out and get ******, just that i enjoy the company of people).

Not scared, just find it weird being alone in the flat. The GF usually goes out while I sit with some buddies at home and chill out, but once they've left and I'm alone in the flat for a few hours, I start hearing odd sounds that I've never heard before as they're usually covered by the ambient noise.

Although I do like being alone on those rare occassions. Love being alone when I'm back at home during the summer holidays though.
 
really depends on what kind of day ive had, if ive had a tough stressful day and get back and the lodgers are out its really nice cause i can just lounge in front of the tv
 
Totally depends on my mood but generally really enjoy the time to myself and if it gets a bit much I have all my boys to come out for a drink these days. :)
 
Sad as it may sound, I enjoy my own company a lot. I just like feeling totally free to play my music loud etc without having to worry about other people.

It's nice in term time though when I've living with the GF.
 
I like the fact im not so regimented, in terms of when I eat, if I wanna have dinner at 9pm, or at 5pm etc, or if I leave dishes around for a few hours, etc.

But the only thing that bothers me is I do find I hear noises all the time I don't usually notice if people are in!

I've not tried sleeping with the tv on though lol, that's apparantly quite good!

This is not acceptable for a 26yr old man I know! LOL

I love an empty house, no noise when your getting to sleep, on the flip side make pretty as much noise as you like. Walk around naked. It's great.
