As in go for every unlock?

Generally yes, I'll try to get to the highest level. I don't however go after some of the more ridiculous achievements that they tend to throw into games now. "Complete all the L4D levels on expert using only the guitar" and the like.

Do you mean graphically or getting all achievements etc? Most people on these forums will most likely try and max games out they own due to it being a PC enthusiast forum :P

The later part though, no idea. I only go for achievements if they actually sound fun or add to the gaming experience in some way.

Pretty much this.

Usually everything other than shadows (Which I keep on medium) and AA (Which is usually around 2/4x depending on how the game looks jaggies wise).

theres no difference between 4x aa and 8x aa really at all, cant tell the difference at anything above 1440 x 900

absolutly, although if i try and play in eyefinity then usually the AA has to go along with some of the fancier effects though :(

I wont play any game on anything below maximum settings. If I can't then it's time to buy new hardware.
I like to keep my framerates above 40 though.

No, My first target is native res, with Vsync at 60 fps, then I turn up the gfx to max as long as it doesn't infringe on framerate = simplez. :)

Depends on the game. i.e. if its a great looking single player game, then everything to max and if I can't get 60+fps then new GPU time.

If its a fast paced online game especially fps then I will adjust all settings for minimum graphical "noise" to get as clear a view and fluid as possible performance as possible - usually means low or close to low settings.
