do you miss any particular games?

i don't miss any games per se but i do miss the enjoyment i used to get out of them. for example red alert 2 used to blow my mind but now it's kinda meh, good only for nostalgia value.

one game i do genuinely miss though is a freeware title called Cell Block A. i can't get it to work on windows 7 which is gutting. basically it's an old 2-D platformer where you play with a mate (one uses arrow keys, the other WASD) and try to beat the crap out of them with assorted weapons inside a jail block. weapons included crowbars, fire extinguishers and the shotgun. anyone else remember this game?

Gave my big crt tv away, thus leaving me without a way to play lightgun games i have for the ps1.

whatever the weather, pointblank is a friggin blast... miss that.

on my origin account, i had bf3 and burnout paradise, before i gave it away in a little competition, and you know what im gutted......i loved burnout paradise lol
might be time to buy it again i think, steam are doing it for a shocking price of 15 quid!! origin.....£4.99, winner! now...all i need is some money in my bank lol
It's been free on Origin a few times, so I'd wait for it to be free again rather than paying for it.

Turok 2. Never did complete it; might yet though. Ever the optimist. :)

Great game, one of my all time favourites. Hive of the Mantids was tough! Probbaly something to do with not being able to see more than 2 feet in front of you...

Games I miss:

Ultima Online - Modern online games have too much 'health and safety'. Knowing if you died your corpse would be looted clean - rare magic weapons, boat key, house key, the lot! The PvP was great too

Little Big Adventure - Twinsen i miss you :( This badly needs a remake or a sequel

Miss Carmageddon. Although there's a new one coming out this year I believe.

Probably miss how I used to play games for much longer than I do now.

Hmmmm no but that is because I keep all my games and have never traded anything.

I do miss gaming as a whole and by that I mean the way it is now. For example give me a game and maybe an expansion pack six months to a year down the line and not a game with half the content missing, day one DLC and a load of other DLC in the coming weeks.

Yes i miss the good old days.

Probably starlancer, there was a great online community...I was young and joined a german clan, called them the N word and was promptly booted.

Ah good times.
