Do you name you're computers/devices. If so what are they called

My gaming machine is called Kal-El and the main PC is CK61938.

Interestingly, some of the hard drives have been named too. Tho I have left the main HDDs (C:\) as Local Disk, I have the following names for the other drives:

Smallville
Metropolis
Krypton

I've even named both of my wireless connections as The Daily Planet (for TalkTalk) and Fortress Of Solitude (Virgin Media). I'm sure you've all guessed the theme by now. :p

Pretty boring but..

<Firstname>-DT
<Firstname>-LT

I renamed all the computers in the house to follow this naming convention, DT for desktop, LT for laptop.

Servers are called

<My Initials>-AS01
<My Initials>-AS02

And so on, AS being "Application Server"

I've only named my HDDs in my main rig which are as follows:
C: "OS"
D: "DATA"
F: "MISC"
G: "GAMES"

Apple gear is named after Shakespeare characters (Titania, Mustardseed, Oberon) with the exception of my wife's MacBook Pro they're always called Pismo after her first MacBook.

PC Gear is named after roman gods. Only have one PC at the moment and that's called Begoe.

I use memes of a nasty nature.

Work desktop: bluewaffle
Server: lemonparty

My girlfriend is a bit soft, so she named her laptop TECHNOVIKINGGG

You sure they didn't mean a name like project name? Plenty of people on youtube give their builds names, doesn't mean computer name.

As well as in project logs you can see them, stuff like project x or greenmachine or whatever

So far I've named them after animals. Monkey, Dog, Tiger, Rabbit, and Blackbird... was an idea I picked up from when I did some work experience at a company that sorted out a number of schools computers... Thought it was cool
