Do you need fill in section 10(New keeper 's details)??

Hey guys, well my dad has just got a used car. hes given the V5C document. and on section 6 i filled in his details, section 8 has the sig of the registered keeper and the new keeper.

As for section 10 do I need to fill in those details and send them off to DVLA aswell?

Not got a V5 to hand but i think thats the bit you keep until you get the new V5 in your name?

The seller is supposed to fill in the V5C, give the buyer the new keepers supplement and send the rest to the DVLA. However as long as the V5C is sent off with the relevant boxes filled in it should be fine.
