do you need to connect two atx connectors into my motherboard because my psu commes with two atx cables but motherboard only have 1 8 pin connector?

Usually its an 8 and 4 pin combo, sure its not the pcie cable lol

No. The only reason for using two is if you’re doing ridiculous overclocks. Most motherboards only support one.

Your power supply just has extra connections in case you pair it with a really high end board.

Higher power PSUs can come with an 8 and a 2x4.
