I've only just realised that ps5 and XSX let you play 4K blu rays!

Got one in the bedroom, one in the spare room, one on my desktop computer and one in the Xbox (UHD player) in the lounge so all in all I have 4 machines

recently sold my BR player and got a 2 year old one for £150 less than i sold my player for!
now have a 4K upscale (1080p TV though)

PC drive/burner (not-4k) ... in practise haven't done much ripping or archiving, just occassional use as a player on lounge tv

blu-ray collecting stopped about 4 years ago, frankly, haven't seen many recent films I'd want to buy/re-watch
(mainly classics leon , apocalypse, pulp, blade ...)

Yes, but only because I got a CX OLED and wanted a decent 4K bluray player.

I have 2. A 12 year old standalone panny I bought new from RS at the time. Plays almost any BD apart from 3d discs for some reason. rarely gets used.
The other is a Pioneer optical drive in one of my rigs, used for MKV duties & for burning the odd CD for the car.

Plus 3 drives in PC's

Oh, and a HD-DVD drive for my Xbox 360.
