got a build in the works with a SuperFlower Leadex Platinum 1000W still waiting for some parts although i plan on making my own custom braided cables for it (not extensions) will still be using the crystal connector blocks to the psu
not sure if that will count but i'll post a pic once this build is complete if you like

I moved my rig to a new Case(540) so my SF cant really be seen now :/,you can just make out the LED of the ATX cable peeking through the bottom mobo tray cutout lol

Awful quality but here's my system with the Superflower 850W PSU.

970 has been replaced by the MSI 290X will get some better quality imagines at some point :p (Dread pulling out all the neat wiring!)

Sell to me why a Platinum 1000w psu is better than gold 1000w? Does it save money in the long run having a Platinum psu or are they more stable in delivering the power output? I assume it's like a EPC for your house??!! :P

It does use less power (that's what the rating indicates - efficiency) but depending on difference in cost etc. it may still be more expensive overall. However, with better efficiency comes cooler operation, generally also helping to keep things quiet and avoiding adding extra heat to your case.

It doesn't indicate that the PSU is any better or more stable, though platinum PSUs are basically all high-end so are all pretty good. For finding out quality of power delivery I'd check out review sites, like jonnyguru or similar. Be warned however that quality of power delivery doesn't automatically indicate something will last a long time either :p
