Im at two minds because yes sniffing can be annoying to others but surely blowing your nose every 5mins is louder and more annoying?

I don't understand people that are happy to blow their nose in public. If I need to do it, it's because it's full of snot. So if I blow I need at least 2-3 sets of tissues lined up to expatriate said snot, and clean up. I tend to go to the bathroom where I can check in a mirror that I'm all cleaned up afterwards. So I tend to sniff until I can get to the bathroom.

I also don't understand people that blow their nose with a hanky or one tissue, and put it back in their pocket. Is it not now full of snot? Yuck!

Good lord no, that would involve actively doing something to improve the world. I just internally condemn them to a special level of hell and go about my day.

I'm both really. When I am in a super quiet place I sniff as light as possible lol as I feel embarrassed blowing my nose for the whole area to know lol

Exactly, unless you're blowing it onto them (or doing it for a really extended period of time over and over again), who cares. People get boogers. Got to get them taken care of somehow.

If you hold the other nostril closed and blow, you can use the straw as a blowpipe to propel snot onto your chosen target. Accurate shooting is sure to be applauded by all in view.
