Do you recon there will be another....

Im not sure about wow 2 probably not as there's new expansion coming next year was just announced in blizcon , about cs2 im sure valve mentioned in some interview that they will do it at some point and i doubt it will be like tf2 , maybe they just waiting for new engine update. my hopes hl:ep3 in some point later cs2

I believe this is correct. Apparently hl:ep3 has a new engine so... *fingers crossed*
 
I'd imagine they will be a Counter Strike 1.6 sequel (excluding that abortion of a game that is CS: S for all logical purposes) with the release of HL3.

The Source engine - both the CS: S and TF2 revisions aren't suited to the IP imo. Both have particularly bad hit registry for competitive internet play, although TF2 is a lot better.

World of Warcraft II - Not within the next 5+ years, Blizzard have an unannounced MMO project, very much doubt it will be Warcraft again. Hopefully that next Warcraft will be a sequel to WCIII: TFT containing all the events of WoW & furthering the time line.

TF2 is just as bad in my experience, maybe you just notice it less because there are hardly any precision weapons.
 
There was an interview on IGN where Gabe Newell (?) said they're definitely bringing out another CS. He said they were looking at some dramatic changes to the game, though.

And Valve have a habit of bringing out good games so I'm not too afraid to get my hopes up for this one

Yeah, I saw that - was going to try and dig it up but only had a brief look on the web and couldn't readily catch hold of it.
 
I remember reading about Blizzard developing a new MMO for release in a few years. While nothing was said about it being a WoW sequel, I can't help but feel the process will borrow heavily from the existing IP.

god why is everyone being so picky, you know exactly what he means. he is talking about a future sequel.

as for wow, i reckon they will bring out other mmorpgs but will probably not be called wow2, they may borrow heavily from wow but i don't think there will be a direct sequel
 
Gabe is definitely bringing out a sequel to CSS as he said in an IGN interview, but at the moment Portal 2 is higher in the priority list.

IMO CSS really needs a refresh and knowing Valve they won't just whip up something rubbish, so I'm really looking forward to it.

I did mean a new counterstrike project be it source or some new engine tech, whatever.:)
