exactly the same hhere but the family comp has now been upgraded so they have something new to destroy
 
We've got the main pc which I built and 3 laptops and people still want to use the main machine which I hate as I've got it all setup as I want it and someone in the house always manages to mess something up.
 
Shared PC when I was younger than 13/14. Once I was that age, I got my own PC and I've had my own ever since *strokes Shuttle* :p

Mines in my room so no family go on it, only my gf if she comes over *then its only msn or watching a film so hey*

My pc, my setup. People = lets move everything around and get comfy, How about NO.
 
Had my own PC since going to uni 4 years ago.
Onto my 3rd one now.
I let other people use it occasionally (when I was at uni), but now I'm back at home there's another one downstairs for the parents.
 
I don't mind other people using my PC, just as long as they know what they're doing. Don't wanna have to be reinstalling stuff and going on a spyware hunt. Having said that, its just me in my uni room now so its all mine.
I used to have to share an old Cyrix 166+ or something with my bro (who's much older than I am). He was a bit of a git and would hog it all the time. I remember copying down the protection codes from game manuals since he'd hide them!
 
my mother tends to go on when im at work, i told her she couldn't after breaking the power button on my old p.c but she needs to get online to study some stuff for work.
 
I use to have to share the family PC as most do, but then i bought my own one which took me ages to save for when about 14/15 from their i always had my own. I dont like others using it really as they tend to install a load of rubbish! and mess things up :P Sis was forever installing cr*p on the family one use to drive me nuts.
 
I did up until I was 15 then built my own. :)
Parents have one each anyway, made up of left over parts from upgrades :D
 
I also hate it when someone touches your monitor arrrggh..

Only myself and the girlfreind get on my computer. Cant be arced fixing it after someone else has trashed it.
