Do you Shift or Lock?

A lot of people do this without paying attention to it but I am just curious how many people do this. I was doing some work with a friend earlier and noticed how he used 'Caps Lock' to capitalise a single character, I've seen many people do it before but I've always used 'Shift' as I think it's quicker.

Do you use 'Shift' or 'Caps Lock' to capitalise a single character? or do you not pay enough attention to notice and are clueless which method you use? It would be good if we can get a poll going.

It's strange because my friend is doing the same degree as me, Computer Science and even when he writing code he still uses Caps Lock, guess it develops from where you learnt to type.

While we're on the topic, how many people type in 'http://www.<some-domain>.com' in the address bar instead of typing in '<some-domain>' and pressing Ctrl+Enter (browser support permitting of course)?

Once I learnt that shortcut I never typed .com again, it's a bitch when I come across a browser not supporting it as I automatically do it now.
