Do you Shift or Lock?

A lot of people do this without paying attention to it but I am just curious how many people do this. I was doing some work with a friend earlier and noticed how he used 'Caps Lock' to capitalise a single character, I've seen many people do it before but I've always used 'Shift' as I think it's quicker.

Do you use 'Shift' or 'Caps Lock' to capitalise a single character? or do you not pay enough attention to notice and are clueless which method you use? It would be good if we can get a poll going.

Shift tbh. I only use caps lock if I'm going to type an entire word or more in caps, LIKE THIS.

People who caps lock for one letter are retarded.

May I be the first to say that caps lock is for n00bs.

However I do get caught out when I have phrases that need to be in all caps so I use caps lock then forget to take it off. sUDDENLY THINGS LOOK A LITTLE STUPID.

Shift of course, only use the caps buttons for words which are only capitals.

A lot of people who learned to type a long time ago seem to use Caps Lock instead of Shift, I've noticed. I have no idea why this is.

I remember when I was in prmary school and I was learning how to use a computer and Logo they shouted at me for using Caps Lock for upper case letters. Over the years I learnt to use the Shift key.
TBH the only people who I see use Caps Lock are people who aren't that proficcient in using computers.

Perhaps its because when you press caps lock you get a funky green light, whereas with shift you get nada.

Shift (both left and right of course

9 times out of 10, even for full words in CAPS i'd still use shift (as i just did then), just seems easier to hold one button down rather than press something twice...

unless, of course its for TKC purposes
