Do you sleep less in summer?

In winter I can get between eight and ten hours sleep without a problem but in the summer I usually get six or seven. Anyone else struggling to be as lazy this season?

I did sleep like that for years but eventually bought some blackout curtains which solved that.

I'd say it's pretty natural to sleep less in the summer due to the earlier sunrise and later sunset along with the heat and humidity.

I think I get about 4-5 hours sleep in the summer, and about 6-8 hours in the winter. I feel much more tired in the winter than in the summer, though, even if I were to get the same amount of sleep between the two.

Yes. Wake up too damn warm (the downside of poor insulation in summer... Tiles heat up hot as hell on a top floor flat

As soon as the light comes in, I'm awake. I really need to get some blackout blinds but every year I put it off.
Blackouts are a god send.

7 hours sleep all year round is enough for me. Too much more I feel **** too little I go a bit loony.

Already start waking just after five am. I get around five hours in the summer and an hour more in the winter.

I do sleep less in the summer but i always have more energy even though i have less sleep. I put this down to the added vitamin D.

I tend to wake up too early in the summer - either because I'm too warm or there's too much light coming into the room.

I struggle with sleep throughout the year unfortunately. But generally do sleep less in the summer as wonderfully it is light nice and early meaning you can get on with your day earlier.

Yes, but mostly due to the fact that my neighbour's father is an ignorant, oblivious, noisy douche.
