Unfortunatley yes. A night down the pub usually ends with a night on the sofa! My snoring becomes unbearable after a few beers

Apparently I sleep very quietly, although I'm very restless.

My old man snores horribly, so give it a few years :/

I used to suffer from sleep apnoeia, which involved lots of very loud snoring and stopping breathing to the extent of waking up. This was happening 2 or 3 times a night and I didn't get a proper night's sleep for about 3 years.

I went to the doc complaing of constant tiredness and after many tests, he diagnosed sleep apnoeia and sent me for an operation called a Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty.
This involves removing part of the palate, reducing the size of the epiglottis and removing the tonsils in order to enlarge the throat cavity; this reduces the vibration at the back of the throat and also prevents the throat from closing fully whilst sleeping so that one can continue to breathe. The surgeon also scarred the rest of my palate with the laser to tighten the skin, further reducing the vibrations in my throat and mouth.

It was very painful (I could only eat liquidised soup and custard (not together) for 2 weeks afterwards) but worked a treat. I don't snore at all when sober and not nearly as much when I've been drinking (I think). I haven't woken myself up since the op. It felt so good to get a whole night's sleep for a change afterwards - it was well worth the pain.

Apparently I snore sometimes... My ex girlfriend used to have conversations with me in here sleep... Could get more intelligent convo out of her sometimes when she was asleep

Nope dont snore as far as i know, my gf does...like a bloody airhorn

. Really annoys me and i tend to poke her in the norks to wake her up. But thats only when shes really tired i guess, other than that i dont snore as far as i know...am a pretty quiet sleeper.

Yup.
Wife's tried giving me special gum, nose clamp thingy, anti-snore spray, "stop snoring please" pleas, smack on head, etc.
A veritable arsenal of medications have found their way to the bedside table - all to no avail.

But she's never thought of takin' me stella away of an evenin'.
Snoring much worse after a tinny or six.

Thats not true... I listened to you all the time, just sometimes I didnt pay attention

In your sleep... you said some disturbing things, it infact almost proved you will turn out like your mother... Things like 'NO DONT PUT THAT THERE!' 'GO CLEAN THAT UP'... pretty much just being bossy

no way...lies!!! lies I tell you! Atleast I didnt call out all my other boyfriends names...now that would have been bad

Hardly likely, I certainly hope shouting 'Henry' is a metaphor for anything else! You used to make me laugh when you talked, because you replied 95% of the time, then you used to wake up and tell me to go back to sleep!

i've been known to have full conversations while asleep, and chip in on other peoples conversations, again fully asleep
but i don't snore

Im at college, so can't I'm afraid.

I once made plane sounds in my sleep when I dreamt that Burgess Hill was involved in a war and the cast of Dad's Army came and fought for us!

Dont think I was with you for that one... though I do remember you making very disturbing noises at times... You also hit me a few times... now that hurt me in more than one way!
