Do you still enjoy any kids programs?

The worst thing is I now have a vague recollection of one I used to watch but can I remember what it is? Noooooooo

Very hazy..... Science Fiction, set in space/the future. UK produced, animated series, where it was quite cheaply done. Backgrounds drawn with animated figures moved over the foreground with only the basics of the character animated (if animated at all). I have a vague recollection that maybe a studio audience chose the path of the programme? - or maybe thats in my head :o The annoying thing was if someone said the name or I saw a picture from it I am sure I would recognise it immedately. Would have been in the 80's

Have a look on this site 80scartoons. Lists all the best 80's shows. :)

Stoppit and Tidyup scared the crap out of me, even voiced by Terry Wogan.

I will always love Thomas The Tank Engine, but more so the period when Ringo Starr was the narrator, not the dodgy token-scouser who replaced him, Michael Angelis I think his name was. Because around the time Ringo was replaced they started bringing in all sorts of new characters, many of which I didn't like, and everything got a bit random. Still, best show ever. I don't think I ever liked anything else quite as much. :)

Some times, some crimes,
Go slipping through the cracks,
But these 2 young shoes are picking up the slack,
There's no case too big,
No case too small,
If you need help just call,
Ch-Ch-Ch-Chip N' Dale, Rescue Rangers.

:o

But it was sooo good.

Mr ben owned TV while i was a kid ;)

I love this cartoon called MAX STEEL ...It looks great but its not on anymore :(

I would like to get the DVD's for my sisters son but can't find them ?

Anyone help me ?

Edit ....no matter ..i found them now .,

Does anyone remember a program on BBC1 called Captain Zep? It was a tiny bit like Knightmare but earlier I think.

MB
Captain Zep, Captain Zep, OOO-ooooo, Super space detective. Wednesday afternoons.

The bloke who used to narrate Mr Benn is now in Eastenders (Joe, just married Pauline) FACT!

EDIT, My dad, who's 79 this year, watches 'Boomerang' a lot, Darstardly and Muttley being his fave.

Great thread! I've bought Thomas the tank engine, Trap door, The Muppets, Morph and Fraggle rock on DVD for my two girls. It's great to be able to watch them again. The girls like them to. I'm going to have to go and buy some more after reading the thread. Dangermouse and Count Duckula are definately at the top of the list. Out of the current stuff I enjoy Koala brothers and Something special (my 2 year old enjoys doing the sign language with me).

I'm 30 by the way :p

Dynoriders and visionairies.

Bernards Watch was another one I'd watch quite happily. I mean give a boy a watch that could stop time what would you do ?? Girls changiing Rooms anyone ?? :D

So wrong but so true.
I actually watched Bernard's Watch for some reason, it was a shocking program meant for people less than half my age, but for some reason I as addicted! Of course, then they changed the main character and it became rubbish, I always liked that weird kid.

One of my mates came round the other day and he was singing the theme tune to the Raggy Dolls, which then got me naming them all lol.
