I am against killing of any animals unless absolutely necessary, and have no idea why people regard killing animals as being cool and/or clever. However, when i've been driving I will swerve to avoid animals but only if it is feasibly safe to do so.
A few months ago I was driving along in a 30 with parked cars on one side of the road, further up the side of the road the parked cars changed over and lo and behold, some idiot was walking both his dogs (collies) off the leash and one walked into the road behind a car. Even though I only had a split second to think about it, I somehow managed to weigh up the fact that even though I instinctively swerved to avoid the dog, it was going to put me into the parked car ahead, so i swerved back in and hit the dog. Which got up and ran away.
Cue me parked diagonally in the middle of the road, car door open, running after this bloke on a bike ****** and blinding at him, swinging my keyboard with full vigour. He obviously knew what was good for him because he cycled off at pace. Luckily I had several PS2 mice which formed a pretty impressive bolas which I used to take him down. I then proceeded to finish him off with a 22" CRT.
Now that my posturing is fully complete and everyone thinks i'm cool, I'll get back to my point. Dog was ok, owner legged it, I was grumpy. Killing animals isn't cool or hard but sometimes necessary. Try not to do it but don't endanger yourself.
P.S Logitech keyboards are much more resilient to road rage violence than MS
My back hurts and I feel funny, i'm going back to bed.
