I mean if you know a guy in work who is also in computers and you actually have the same conversations out loud that you do in here, You tend to feel a bit bored don't you? If you don't, try it and you will see it I mean lol.

Yep.. I'm in an office (doors always open, but its an office in it's own right) with one other colleague of mine, he's pretty much exactly the same as me but 10 years older, and we chat about computers/women/current issues all day whilst working.

No, not really.
Although in recent times this is changing a bit as I'm a lot more relaxed and self confident in my geekiness. Some of the financial stuff I discuss in here gets brought up in work.

Me and my b/f often discuss stuff which is on the forum.

Work colleagues aren't not bothered about listening tbh, I have tried it and yes it was boring. More intrested in clothes and stuff than computers/games/music etc. Therefore when I rant on about a robot rebuilding itself they just change conversation.

Maybe it's because me and b/f are both registered on here and thats why we can discuss stuff and find it intresting.
