Do you talk to things?

I talk to stuff. A lot, I've noticed.

There's crap all over my desk and a watch was in the way of my drink. I kept nudging it on to the stand of my iMac, and it kept falling off, so then I did it really... purposefully, and said 'GO UP THERE!' in a stern, you're-in-trouble-with-Mum way...

That's strange, isn't it? It did work though.

This is the bit where you tell me it's not just me

I talk to myself a lot, and laugh at myself for talking to myself, then sometimes talk to objects. I think it means you're not crazy, personally. Tom Hanks did it in castaway so it must be fine.

WIIIIILLLLLSOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNN

Do you mean along the lines of, "If you move or utter a sound then you're getting the Chloroform again and the child dies"?

Can't say I talk to objects, but I do find that I'll run through conversations or thoughts in my head and then realise that I'm moving my lips...not good :(

All the time! To the door when i spaz out and forget how to use it (insert the family guy bit with peter forgetting how to sit down), phoney mc ringring (my mobile phone), foob, cooking stuff, the shower... The list goes on.

Tends to be more when im bored/easily distracted though

I do it all the time. I talk to myself too, and answer myself which is a bit worrying. I guess I get a better answer that way!

I talk to the dog and my rabbit, oh and my car, does that count?

And I shout at my laptop quite a lot!

if i get annoyed at trying to cram things in somewhere (i.e. graphics card in a fairly busy case) then i'll scream at it and tell it to get the **** in there!

more ragey frustration than anything i think
