Do you talk to yourself?

Sometimes in my head but i don't out load, though i do have a habit of exclaiming out loud when no-one is around.

There's nothing to worry about if you're talking to yourself, animals or objects.
Start worrying when they start talking back.

:p

No, but I did do something just as embarassing today. Was just sitting there on the train, headphones on and looking out of the window, when, for no reason whatsoever, a joke a mate had told me ages ago popped into my head and caused me to let out a rather loud laugh.

The guy sat opposite me gave me such a confused look. :D

I just had a conversation with a neighbors cat!!

As I was walking up to the front door of our flats, she said 'Meow' and looked at me, so I said "Sorry Gabby, I can't let you in cos I don't have the key to your owners flat!"

She looked at me and pleaded "Mee'ow!", to which I replied "I'm sorry!" Tickled her ears for a couple of minutes and then said (whilst she was purring at me) "Go and find somewhere warm until Pam gets home! I'll let you use the bonnet of my car as it should be warm enough!"...

She Purred, Meow'd and plodded off to sit on my car!!

This made me laugh! :D

I occasionally shout angry while playing games but not too often, I work next to a woman in work who is consistently talking to herself, it is really annoying.

I talk to myself all the time. When I am cooking I give myself a running commentary on what I am doing. I also sometimes make up songs about it as I am doing it which is a bit odd. I do it when I am cleaning too. I talk to myself when I am walking the dog and most of the time I don't even realise I am doing it... Gets me some weird looks.

It's especially bad when I am playing games because I normally have an open mic on Mumble/Vent/whatever and it happens so naturally that I don't even realise I do it most of the time.

I've also been known to have conversations with inanimate objects, such as the walls in my bedroom. I'm weird though so it's okay.

Actually, I sometimes give myself a verbal kick up the arse when I'm out on my bike and I'm going too slowly. Not been caught doing this yet but I'm waiting for the day I tell my self to hurry up and at the same time some old dude steams past me up the hill!

I do this, seems to help motivation somehow. Also do it when climbing on lead. Things like MTFU, and discussing my next belay/gear placement before I get to it. Big part of trad climbing is the head game.

I think out loud, as opposed to have a conversation with myself.

This,

I think out loud too. Often if its something that I feel I need to do to achieve something I might speak out loud to myself. The last time I remember what a brief thought I had where I thought I had lost a little ground in my business so I need to get back on track and put more effort in. Which is what I said out loud while walking through the gym car park lol.
