Yeah, but, it's like at work, people who sign off emails with their name. I know who it came from by checking the sent field. I view it as a weird kind of narcissism. Especially people who sign off with initials, like them two letters that are your initials are exclusive to you. (By you, I mean the many people I receive emails from, throughout a working day)
 
My last post in the fear of flying thread got deleted because I didnt, so I guess not. Sometimes I do, but gd is more conversational than intellectual debate most of the time, which often doesn't warrant (nor, in the case of many threads in here, encourage) any thought.

How much thought I put into my response depends on the OP, and on the posts following. So occasionally I write hundreds of fairly carefully chosen words, and sometimes I just write "No."
