Do you think drag queens etc makes it harder for the transgender women?

I just feel sorry for transgender women with all the rubbish they go through and men that dress up as women are not helping matters... But than again no one likes different and it really is sad and pathetic.
Like this girl thats just been murdered because she's a trans,, and the people who murdered her said, "they did it because they wanted to see if she'd scream like a man or a woman"..

I don't think it's drag queens that cause confusion, I'd say it's transvestites.

Transvestitism is a sexual fetish. Being trans is a way of life.

The LGBT community I would say wants to be taken seriously as a legitimate lifestyle, so having people looking similar but only doing it for the sexual thrill of wearing women's clothes is confusing matters in my view.

Trans woman aren't accepted? Yes they are. They exist and have every right to be accepted as a woman. What isn't accepted is some of them insisting that they are in fact female.

Transwomen are people with a tragic mental illness. No amount of peer pressure or even legislation will force people to decide, against all reason, that willing yourself to be a thing makes you become that thing you wish to be.

People are quickly convinced when their jobs and livelihoods are on the line.

Maybe they don't truly believe. But unless you have informants, or listening devices to catch people out, you'll never truly know. People will adapt to their surroundings to survive.
 
I thought a transgender women were basically men dressed up as women, thats until I started to read up about it. And actually real deal transgenders are actually are really attractive and they take all sorts of medication and stuff to become feminine and takes 5-7 years to fully change. Also something I didnt know before a few months ago, that a man is not gay if attracted to a transgender woman because shes a woman in a mans eyes not a man... But all these men that dress up as women are giving out the wrong impressions to men and to women, plus I think is a kind of a **** take of transgender women.

Gatekeeping clothing and makeup by gender belongs in the past.

Women can dress however they like and still be women. So can men, a kilt or a ballgown doesn't make them not men.

My eyes tell me that 99.99% of society bend over backwards to accept transgender people.. the problem we have is that in the most tolerant society that has ever existed some noisy idiots still go around pretending they are oppressed and victims and worse, they add so much noise that the actual last vestiges of any real issues are hidden..

We have transgender family friends, we have transgender people working in local shops, 99.9% of the time they are just treated as people.. the only people I see making a song and dance over things are simply queer idiots whose entire life is centred around their sexuality and can't accept the rest of us don't want to hear about it..

Drag queens are drag queens, how can anyone conflate them with transgender people?
