Which one are you referring to? I ask because the one that everybody's raving about is nothing in my book except for a pretty face.

For some strange reason people see an acoustic guitar being strummed along to a cover version amd all reason and sense go flying straight out the ****house door.

Eva Cassidy being the case in point.

Visit her myspace page (click 'More' on the information section on the YouTube entry for the URL) to hear how much difference a good studio makes.

That should show people what singing on a webcam is like in comparison with a professionally produced song.

I have known just two people who can simply walk up to a mike and sing well, and one of those was an opera singer who sang solo at the Royal Albert Hall.

I'm not fond of higher pitches, but that is remarkably good for an unaltered one-take song to camera. With a recording studio, I think she'd really stand out amongst modern non-classical singers.

After listening, I scrolled back up to see her (I always avoid video when listening to music - it can affect my judgement of the music). She'd stand out in appearance, too.
