Question:

Do you think that you really add value at work - As regards to what you do in your job...?

Yes - on a crude level, my invoicing target is 3 x my salary and I usually exceed that. On other levels though I believe I also add value in non-chargeable ways, often providing IT assistance, chipping in to help other people and just being a friendly, cheerful person!

I save my company a lot of time and money, so yes. Shame I'm leaving in a week (for them).

yep i reckon i add value there is only 10 of us working in my office so if i wasn't adding value they would have got rid of me.

The sales guys at work always "add value"

Although unfortunately that's always for the customer, which we have to make happen for absolutely no thanks.

Aye I really do, i'm intuitive and I do more than "just" doing my job well. I could sit back and do my job to 100% and no more, yet I constantly look at ways I can improve my department, making my job easier, improving the services we offer to our customers :)

Yep, mostly because I keep the PC's running, the backups sorted out and make sure that the network is fine. You know how it is, you get irritated with the way the network and systems are managed and decide to ask the boss if you can do something about it?

Which I assume adds value given that I started off doing, and still do design work. :D
