So, I use Siri every day and probably consider myself reliant on it in many ways, but I was wondering how many others actually use it.

In particular, my biggest usage is when I am driving. I can activate Siri and use the in-car audio system to reply to messages etc and it's no more of a distraction than turning off the radio or AC.

(For some reason Ford SYNC doesn't like replying to iMessages but that's another rant :p)

Also, if I am cooking I can just activate Siri and set a timer quicker than I could manually. This is great if you've got messy hands as you can usually spare a digit to press the home button.

Anyway.... I'm creating a poll. Do you use Siri?

I don't have an iPhone but interested in this
I can't use it in my car (the one place I would) as it's just too noisey in the background
I've given this a little go and is just to much hassle

Occasionally as a fast way to make a call to certain contacts. Beyond that, not really.

It's certainly more powerful than I know, however for most things it's just too unreliable IMO.

I've found that the worse an accent I put on, the better it understands me too.

Back on Android I didn't use Google Now either.

Yes, but only on occasion for things like launching apps, starting a countdown timer when I'm cooking or adding things to my reminders shopping list etc. Really don't use half of its potential.

But I don't really listen to music when I'm out and about either, and I guess it's in those situations where you've got headphones on and the phone in your pocket that it really becomes useful.

I've started using it a lot more over the past few months. Initially I didn't give it a chance as I thought it was a gimmick, however once I started using it I realised it's very useful feature.

I go through phases, every now and then I start to find it useful - but I almost always go back to doing it on my own

I've spent more time asking it What does the fox say? as oppose to anything else - so probably not making the most of it haha

Interesting poll! I can't say I'm surprised how many people don't use Siri, but I honestly couldn't do without it.

Another use case is converting currency or measurements :)

When my phone is in my pocket etc.. and I'm walking (and no one is around) I will use it as it is easier then getting phone out.

At home I'll use it to set a timer etc... all basic tasks. I could use it a lot more but sometimes its just as easy to do it manually.

Don't own any Apple products but I found the poll interesting.

I use Google Now which is effectively the same and I find it really good and the voice recognition has become much better recently
