Use my creditials to log into GoG Downloader and then paste the following links into your browser for the game and free mini DLCs

and possibly these if the main installer doesn't include the latest patch (though I am almost certain it does)

i was talking to a friend about it after your last post and he owns it too so also showed me the above method and it started downloading so should work nicely, though i had to pause it until i can do it overnight :p

thanks again disco! also turns out it hadnt been fully removed from my computer from the last time so hopefully it wont need to redownload the whole thing
pretty excited now as i enjoyed the bits i had played :D
will keep the offer in mind though as im still not convinced it will allow me to play it without some kind of link to my/his account that bought the game?

feel free to remove me from the draw smogsy

No Link is required gog is drm free :) its owned by the developers of witcher 3 also :)

I won't enter as I'm not sure it's quite my thing (haven't really enjoyed the first two all that much - what I've played of them anyway).
