Do you wear protection or go nude?

Got a gel type case but that's for when I spanner it onto the floor by accident.

Plus too slippy without.

I'm surprised by the number of people who have none and rely on insurance. Not the most sustainable way forward! Smart phones do eat up a lot of Earth's resources after all. Lithium for example, is very hard to get.

Depends on if they do drop and break them.

And many get recycled.

What about the people that keep old phones in a cupboard... Wasted raw materials!

No insurance, no screen protector. I tried a few over the years but I never successfully applied one as I found them all too fiddly. You end up with bubbles, and don't get me started with the liquid applicator ones. So I sacked them off as a lost cause.

I use a case and and I'm fine with a case as long as the bezels are slightly higher than the screen. It means that if I drop it onto something hard like a pavement, the screen won't come in contact with the concrete. So I have lost a couple of cases in this way but it's only a tenner a pop and the handset itself is still pristine.

I always use decent cases and glass screen protectors. They have 100% protected them, I would have broken several screens by now and lost hundreds of pounds.

Phones are just way too slippy on their own. Not like they're rubberised, with grippy surface

Always a tempered glass screen protector, so easy to apply compared to the old school ones.

Case is.... Maybe a Spigen. It's slim profile. I normally use bulkier cases due to...

I knocked my phone off the bannister midweek and it made a stair journey. Top to bottom. Things like this are a common occurance.

The other phone a Xiaomi has nothing at the moment, with being glass backed it's an accident waiting to happen. Should sort that.

Never insurance.

Always tempered glass, the phones with curved screen I found the tempered glass that are applied with liquid / uv work the best and back slim case that adds as less bulk as possible

I have a leather case on my iPhone 14 Pro, this is the first time I’ve gone naked screen since before my Samsung Omnia i900 some years back!

I’ve used a Mous case for the last couple of phones. Silly money but fantastic protection and quite slim. Plus they look good I think. No screen protector or insurance though.

Galaxy S20 FE 5g with the screen protector it came with. I also have it in a hard case with flip out stand on the back. My previous S10 had a full cover case that clipped on the front and encased the whole phone. The result was a phone without a single scratch, dent or mark on the screen after 3 years.
