Do Your Parents Game?

My dad plays GTA games relentlessly :) Age of 60 as I type.

My mum plays old card games (freecell, tripeaks) and old win 95 games like Jezzball :o

Refuses to move on though :( 55 for here :)


Oh and TSG your mum's obsessed with Bejewled! :|
 
My Dad does/did and he's now 63. I say that as things have changed a bit. He always loved C&C, Red Alert and Age of Empires, played all the sequels, but he seems to have gone off them in the last few years. He also quite liked the WW2 style FPS. He only ever played against the AI, never online.

I played him once at Red Alert 2 and I was really surprised. He beat me comfortably. But he always did have a knack for strategy, he nearly always beats me at chess too :(

Now he's into online Poker, plays all the time, not for real money though. He's got some sense.

Mum - doesn't play anything.
 
My mum & dad own a Wii.

my dad plays darts, tiger woods, snooker, wii sports and boardgames on a regular basis, he tried prince of persia but didnt get on with it.

my mum plays the boardgames thats about it, occationaly will join in if we play wii sports together
 
Mom and Dad both do.

The old man has a racing sim setup on his PS3 and mum has a wii and a 360 for Lego games, Tomb Raider and Rockband..

Yeah shes on level 1 billion or something lol. Was she playing it when you popped down?
 
Mum likes Top Spin 3 and Pacman
Step-dad likes GTA, HAWX and Ace Combat.
^ Neither of them can play FPS, from the second I hand them the controller instead of moving they end up looking right up at the sky unable to grasp how to move.

My Gran (76) likes Terrorist Hunt on Rainbow Six; Vegas... she's scary while playing that :p

Mum doesn't but my dad does and only withtwo select games them being:

Monopoly
MS Train Simulator

I do try and broaden his gaming horizons but he will sit for hours playing the above, seems to enjoy it though! :)
 
My mother only recently acquired the knowledge to send/recieve an e-mail and my father only plays golf, golf and more golf.
 
Mum never plays any games and I don't think I have ever seen her play one in my life.

Dad occasionally plays against me at sport games but that's about it and it's not often. Maybe once a year
 
My Mum plays her DS all the time and has a Wii to play Wii Fit and tennis etc...

She enjoys Mario Kart too but she tends to only play with other people, I think it's so she can push them off the chair and win.

Oh and she enjoys playing Lego games with me on the 360 sometimes but only if she can play as Han Solo.
 
My dad hasn't got any interest in gaming, but he will stop and watch if he sees anything military related (MW2) or if it is a boxing game.

He's 49.
 
My dad used to play street fighter 2 turbo with me when i was younger and living at home. but i think he did it just to entertain\humour me. He always picked blanka and his favourite movie? bash that punch button!!!
