No idea i'm afraid but i would certainly take it with you.
I'm sure if you ring and explain your situation they'll take some of that into account. I would lead with the mobo though as it would be really odd for both sticks to be fubar'ed (but not impossible).
If that passes you've done all you can with what you have to hand - you're going to go in better prepared than most people.
Usually, you're gut instinct is correct - and your troubleshooting is certainly pointing towards the MB or, ouside chance, the memory.
Having said all that - cables (sata, ide...) can cause weird and wonderful problems too. Very unusual but if you read these forums long enough you learn to suspect everything.
Ok - so just as I was packing up, It occurred to me that I should try plugging something into the VGA port instead of the DVI-D port of the graphics card.
Low and behold, board was POSTing fine and was hanging on press DEL to enter setup!
Bizarre though that there was no video output through DVI?!
Edit: also bizarre that I plugged my 8800GTX in which ONLY has DVI ports - and there was no output there.
You've got to laugh, but it's so often something obvious.
Mine was forgetting to put the CMOS clear jumper back and wondering if my GPU was dead, then realising that the onboard didn't work and thinking I had a borked motherboard/CPU. Finally realised that the fans were connected to the motherboard and spinning up at max rpm the whole time.
I dont think the graphics card was outputting to DVI first - becuse i plugged my machine back in and didn't check the back of the monitor then, so I assumed that wasnt the problem. Whatever made it work, I dont know... But it would have been quite embarassing. understatment. Also, never assume!
