Dock for cased iPhone, if you're interested.

I've been after something of this sort for a little while, and most of them are very cheap looking. This one's not perfect but I'm happy with it, and it works well.

It's a Sinjimoru Sync & Charge stand. You clip your dock cable into it. You can put the phone in it in landscape as well if you want to watch something on it. There's two clips that come with it, one for nekkid phones and phones in cases that don't obstruct the bottom, and one for bumpers and the like.

I've tried it with thin cases, and the bumper and a great big thick Speck case, and it worked quite happily with all of them.

£9.99 from various places.

It's of nice enough quality and I'd go so far as to say the design's actually quite nice.

Just thought I'd post my thoughts, as I know a few people are after something like this, and you can't go far wrong with it for a tenner delivered imo

Also ITT, £2.95 eBay case which as of today is my favourite iPhone 4 case (I've got about 10 so far :/)

I'd love one but have read a short user review saying that this isn't compatible with the iPhone 4 bumper. Shame

I read that as well, but I tried it and it does work.

Mine came with two clips for the dock cable, one marked 'for bumper'.

It pokes the dock connector out a little. When I first tried it I thought it didn't work, but I soon realised you just need to give it a little push down and it clicks into place almost.

it does work with an Apple bumper

Possibly previous ones didn't come with it, but I got mine from a UK seller on eBay (I think it shipped from South Shields if that helps) and it certainly works.

The Apple universal dock without any adapter in it works fine as well for most cases, including the bumper.

This is what i've used for years, I cringe at the fact theres a new 'specific' dock for each iphone, the universal dock is just fine

worked with all my cases too.

I think the universal docks look ***** without adaptors in them :/

Plus there's no support on the back so one knock can snap the connector.

Looks quite good, thinking about getting one myself as there arent many docks which can accomodate the bumper.

How sturdy is the iphone in the dock. I assume it doesn't move around too much, and back is supported ok?

Pretty sturdy and well supported, the dock's not very heavy though so you have to hold it down when you take the phone out. You can do it with the same hand though.

Switcheasy cases comes with dock adaptors for the universal dock.... so never been a problem for me.

Really cant beat the quality of switcheasy products.

Do Apple not do just a simple dock. One with the good quality build that is simply a charger/USB connection to your PC? One that will work with the bumper on of course.
