Guys, when you have you iphone/ipod in the dock then connected into your pc. what is that device called?

The universal dock is just that, universal. ie, any iPod with a dock-connector can use it. However, they're all different sizes - compare Nano to Classic to iPod Touch to iPhone. There are a series of adapters that allow each to fit the universal dock.

Thanks I will pick up the universal dock with the adapter for an iphone. Can you get the dock & adapter in black?

Not an official one.

Would be better to stay with the white anyway, if you get a new iPod or iPhone later down the line and it requires a new adapter, a black dock and white adapter will not make the ladies want you.
