Firstly i've already contacted WD about a replacement drive so hopefully they'll be able to sort me out with a working drive.
Now my computer was just shutting off when it tried to access this drive but I plugged the drive into my Dads PC and it worked fine. But I can't think of anything at all why it doesn't like my PC.
I'm running a Tagan 600w power supply with 3 other hard drives plugged into it. I've also tried running the faulty drive with just 1 hard drive in and changed the power leads aswell but my PC is still shutting down. It also did work with no problems up until last week when my PC started randomly crashing.
It's just baffled me.
