Does a PCI ribbon or something in that form exist ?

Im looking for a sort of ribbon that plugs into a PCI slot and the other end into the PCI sound card. In a sense it extends the PCI slot. Does this exist, am I even making sense ?

Why would you want to extend it? Why not just plug the card in to the slot?

Whatever the reason may be have a quick search for pci slot extender and you will find what you need.

Yes they do. You get PCI and PCI-e versions.

Search terms to use are "pci extender cable"

My gpu has DVI ports on the 2nd half of the PCI bracket but since it has a waterblock now the pci slot is exposed. So I cant plug the sound card in as the PCI bracket is blocked by the GPU.
