Does anyone bother updating their bios?

I was having a discussion the other day and the question came up that we had a complete difference of opinion over. If your motherboard is behaving fine is it better to update the bios or leave it be?
My way of thinking is if it's working the don't fix it. Others thought they must have the latest version for the sake of having the latest version.
