Does anyone commute to work in an interesting way?

One of my ex's dad used to get a helicopter to work on occasion, he worked for the Barclay brothers and bad weather would mean the boat wouldn't run between Guernsey and Brecqhou - so they'd get him there on their private helicopter.

About 400 with parking but it's awful. I share a bathroom with 5 people and it's small dirty and noisy

I don't think I could go back to that - although i'm a student, i'm a decade older than my colleagues, and value my own clean bathroom. I bet your morning commute is delightful though.

In all seriousness how is this a thread, of all the subjects to talk about, commuting has to be the most dull thing imaginable

It was a bit of a adjustment but I had got too accustomed to nicer things in life and it's not a bad thing that I'm living a very much more normal life now.

5 minute walk in to town. I'd take the car, but the closest place to park for more than 2 hours is my drive. It's still a battle trying to get past the school mums with aimless toddlers trying to play chicken with the main road.
