does anyone else game at 1360x768

due to space requirements i can only fit a 26" sony tv in the bedroom.
sadly this tv is only hd ready at 1360x768.

been running crysis max settings and it looks fine to me at this res.
played a few others including mafia II and BC2 and they all look ok to me at max.

so am i missing out big time on the prefered 1920x1080 res?

i've actualy measured and i can slot in one of these new slimmer 32" LED tv's which are full HD..

hopefuly my specs should be ok for the higher res?

i7 2600 @ 3.4ghz
8 gigs ram
GTX 560ti (1gb)

Yeah I would say the difference is very noticeable. I used to game on a 32" sony at 1360x768 a couple of years ago, now I use a 22" 1920x1080 monitor and its a the extra definition really shows.
 
Yeah you will have a pretty nice jump in terms of quality, you will obviously lose some performance but the extra detail will be worth it.
 
i'm gaming on a 26" 1360x768 telly here and it all looks great to me. as long as you dont have your nose touching the monitor it should be just fine
 
My kids 19" monitor has a similar res. and when i go from my 22" 1920 x 1080 i can see the difference, the 1360 x 768 looks poor,
but this is on monitors, not sure if its the same on a tv. :)

also your spec is overkill for that resolution. imo;)
my old hd4850 used to cope with most games on that res.
 
i just moved from 1650x1050 to 1920x1080 and it took me a coupe of days to readjust so yeah you will notice.

your specs are almost identical to mine but i have a crappy 6870 and it has no issues
