Ever since you could download games legally via places like Steam I've always had that excitement (and fustration) of waiting for a game to download. I often left my connection on over night and just left the game downloading so when I woke up in the morning the game was there and I could play.
Despite being a lot older now (28) I still got that excitement of waiting for a game up until recently when I got a fibre optic connection.
Don't get me wrong, The connection is great and I can get any game from the basket to my computer within 30 minutes but that anticipation and excitement is now gone.
I imagine it's partly because I'm a lot older now and partly because I'm spoilt for choice.
Wondering if anyone else has had this thought?

Yeah, some people in poor countries have to worry about whether they can eat or not, but we don't, doesn't mean somebody has to come around and say 'first world problem' everytime somebodies fridge packs up or when somebodies harddrive fills up.
