Hi.

Does anyone have a rabbit? If so, how do you get them to jump over tall things and stop ******* everywere? The garden is like a mine field, all you sea is bits of feces and its very annoying walking on it and I need to somehow train him to only go to the toilet in one place or only do it in his cage.

Also, he keeps going at my dad and today he did it at me, like shoots at us at lightning fast speed into our legs, he missed mine but he never misses my dad's, nearly every time he like jumps and dives into his legs and trys to bite them, also he always seems to flick urine at us, we walk up to him and he just flicked his black legs around and sprays it like a metre and aims at us. Other things he likes to do is when I pick him up I have to wear a coat because he constantly try to eat my shoulder and trys to struggle and stand on my shoulder then jump off. Basically, he's an bad rabbit and I dont understand why, I wish I could go outside and walk up to him and stroke him or pick him up but nope he wont have any of that he just goes into attack mod

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Willz.

Mines like that. I guess mine and yours just have bad tempers. And you cant stop them crapping everywhere tbh. only thing we tried was put news paper in the hutch where she usually craps/wee's etc and get it soaking soaking wet in wee and move it where you want it to go to the toilet. It works for us for a while but she just chewed it and decided to crap and wee everywhere else.

i hav a house rabbit, get a cat litter tray if u need it but mine goes in its cage for the toilet

i think knip says she's trained hers to crap in a cage.

We had 2 rabbits and both of them were evil little gits.
The kids could go nowhere near them and I ended up with loads of bites & scratches.
In the end I'd had enough of them so I sneaked out and let them loose where they were building the new Stoke City ground at the time.
Of course the kids cried a tear and we pretended to look for them but they were gone.
A couple of days later I was on a run and saw a family holding & stroking the 2 evil rabbits.
Unbloodybelievable.
I kept looking in The Sentinel for a headline : 'Rabbits kill Blurton family'.

rabbits always bite me , dont know why :(

was an evil rabbit in our front garden once , it was huge too.

so we set the cat on it , he circled it for a bit then crawled across the garden on his belly....he pounced and mid flight got volleyd across the garden by this rabbit that obviously had eyes in the back of its head :p oooops .good job he was a tough cat , went back for a few more goes too

We have 2 house rabbit, a boy and a girl that have both been neutered. The girls are actually the worse and can be quite aggressive.

The blokes are very chilled once you have had them done, as mentioned above get a tray with hay in, every time they wee or poo pick it up or wipe with kitchen towell and place in the tray.

After a while they will start using the tray.

OUrs are as good as gold, they have the rn of the house and go out when ever they like when we are in.

The stopped nipping cables a long time ago thank god!!!

Ours are about the size of two large cats so they don't get any bother ;o))

He's an outdoor rabit, so I get a take up the hay that is soaking in pee and put it in a try and put it somewere in the garden and that should help?

He has a cage, we have a pig aswell, a guinea pig, and well they aint together, I think the pig would be sunday dinner to the rabbit.

Also I notice that the rabbit also LOVES to hump the manchester united football in the garden :p, its pretty disturbing tbh.

My mum says we wont have the rabbit neutered as its too old and would be too stresfull.

Show it this, and watch it's behaviour instantly improve. ;)

But he's not a wild rabbit :p

you have a very rare alpha rabbit there.

Or have you been near an Australasian genetic lab?

He's not australian from what I see lol  whats an Alpha rabbit?

Put it in a pot.

I dont want to eat rabbits, we have much chicken to eat last thing I want is a rabbit, also a couple of pigeons live in the tree at the end of the garden and some others visit now and again so we've got some food supply there :).
