Does anyone know much about Freeview?

Hi all, does anyone know much about freeview/freesat?

I've got a box, and most FTA channels work (good quality/signal bars) but a few channels don't seem to work - namely C4 and More4 +1 (although C4+1 works, as does More4)

I've looked in the set up options, but know absolutely nothing abut satellites, transponders, polarisations etc!

If you don't manage to get it fixed from any suggestions, contact ofcom and they will investigate why.

The box should have an auto tune function, and find all the available channels, afaik

We used to get drop-outs of certain muxes when the trees were in season and blocking the signal.. might be worth checking your aerial is pointed properly and nothings in the way.

As others have said above: the auto-tuner should fix all these problems.

This is presuming that your satellite dish was fitted **and checked** after installation for any problems.

unless of course you have a good Ariel with decent reception
if not get cable or sky
btw you dont need a satellite dish for free view
